Skin medicament for impetigo, eczema etc. - contg. aq. extract of brown spotted sweet persicaria

Skin medicament is prepd. by treating the fresh stems of brown-spotted sweet Persicaria with hot water, and recovering the aq. extract. Chilblains and prurigo are treated with an aq. extract obtd. by boiling 35 g. of the fresh stems in 225 g. water, cooling and filter pressing; and herpes is treated with an aq. extract obtd. as above but using only 17 g. of the fresh stems and boiling for 2-3 mins.
