Thread rolling mill roll drive - adjustable for roll profile synchronising during rolling

The drive comprises two gear wheels (gear ratio 1:1) which are fixed to the shafts of two thread rolling rolls (of the same dia. and of periodic profile) and which mesh with two intermeshing gear wheels which may have the same size and can be pivoted together about the axes of the first gear wheels. The construction is simpler than drives contg. cardan shafts, and the drive can be used with various roll dias. and roll gaps without changing the gear sets.
