The simple drawer guide comprises a guide rail ( 2) which is fixed on either side of the drawer (15) and/or supporting carcase (1) and on the side facing the latter is provided with a longitudinally extending recess (7). A projection (12) is provided on the axle (11) of the guide roller (4) so as to be displaceable with play in the recess thereby ensuring that the roller cannot fall out since the projection abuts the wall of the recess. If the recess (7) and projection (12) are conically tapered this ensures an easier guide of the roller in the rail. The roller (4) is preferably injection moulded in one piece with the projection.
