Pulverized solid fuel injector - for gasifier has exchangeable wear liners for mixing head, blow tube and burner

Pulverised solid fuel is introduced into a gasifier with a gas containing oxygen through a mixing head to produce the fuel/oxygen suspension, a blow tube and a burner terminating in the gasifying chamber. Both mixing head blow tube and burner have inner exchangeable wear liners which are interconnected and extend in case of thermal elongation relative to the blow tube and burner into the gasifying chamber. A sliding seal joins burner and blow tube. This reduces the costs for replacing the rapidly wearing inner parts and the downtimes for a gasifier. All walls are designed for up to 30 atm. pressure and offer higher functional safety. The throughput of fuel can easily be changed by using wear liners of another inside diameter.
