Appts. for gymnastic exercises - indicates time interval for each exercise and counts number of performed exercises

The apparatus consists of a star-shaped frame with eight arms (a-h) which is mounted near to the gymnast as he peforms his exercises. The end of each arm carries a signal lamp (a', b'). At the centre of the star there is a control box with a starter button (k) and a selector switch (1) for adjusting the period of time, when the lights flash which is between (0.5 and 2 seconds). The counter (i) registers the number of exercises completed and the discs (m) select the programme of exercises. The gymnast performs the appropriate exercise which enables him to touch each lamp in turn as it flashes according to the programme.
