Mounting of modular time switches - uses preassembly of external elements and final assembly after functional checking

The modular, digital cooking range time switches are mounted by assembling the individual parts of the timing switch externally to form a functional component unit, containing the housing with the lever system and motor, the switching system, the drive transmission system and the indicator group. These preassembled unit are adjusted and their functions checked. Subsequently the externally preassembled functional component units are mounted into the range in a predetermined sequence. Preferably the individual externally preassembled functional component units are mounted in the order: the switching system, the drive transmission system, and the indicating unit into the respective housing, after which the function checking of the groups is carried individually and with all groups together.
