X-ray camera comprises an intensifying film which converts X-rays to visible light and which has a given, electronically controlled persistence time. Pref. the film is disposed in the path of the beam together with the intensifying film, and a first exposure control circuit switches the X-radiation on and off, while a second exposure control circuit determines persistence time of the intensifying film, so that photographs can be taken with short exposure times even with low-output X-ray sources.
