Tube cutting and swaging tool - has base and rotary core accommodating cutting and swaging inserts used simultaneously

The tool cuts and swages tubes in a single operation, and comprises a base with stops, and a rotary tool core. The latter accommodates the cutting and swaging inserts of the desired profile, also a spring packet exerting a force considerably greater than that necessary for swaging the tube. The same core can be arranged to accommodate a straight or right-angled cutting and swaging profile, or one of a different shape. The tool is particularly for use where several tubes have to be joined at a nodal point.
