A through flow valve in partic. for use with the coolant liquid used in screw type compressor devices which employ fluid injection, has a filter (4), a controlled through flow aperture (10) operated by a thermostat (7) having a bypass pipe line (11, 14) and a compressed medium operated valve body (15) whichis used to open or close the through flow supply pipe, all mounted in sequence behind one another within the valve housing (1) itself. The valve housing (1) is of cylindrical design and all the constructional components lie along a single axis.
