Fork for skittle alley - picks up both skittles and skittle balls and is based on an aluminium tube

This fork for retrieving skittles and skittle balls from the catching pit of a skittle alley consists of an aluminium tube (6) one metre long whose end is flattened to grip the end (5) of a pair of aluminium prongs (2). These prongs are shaped to correspond with the diameter of a skittles ball and have a bridge piece (4) in between to hold the prongs apart at a distance slightly wider than the narrow neck of a skittle and to prevent the prongs from bending outwards allowing the ball or skittle to be dropped. The end (3) of the prongs is flattened and angled outwards to enable the ball or skittle to be picked up more easily.
