Bowling alley skittle replacement mechanism - using computer control with sensing system for balls and skittles and return conveyor

The method of replacing skittles in a bowling alley uses a process computer. The skittles are not suspended from overhead, but slide into receivers at the bottom of a slope, and are then lifted by a mechanical system and are sorted together with the balls and deposited into supply channels. The skittles are sensed by a mechanical/electronic or purely electronic sensing system and transferred to a lifting and conveying mechanism under the control of the computer. The values are sorted in the computer and faults eliminated, the values being evaluated and indicated. The skittles are replaced by gravity, and the return channels are used as intermediate stores, the return speed then being increased.
