A pair of trousers are pressed by holding the waistband in a stretched stated and blowing air or steam into them to inflate the upper region. Simultaneously each crease region of each trouser leg is pressed individually and the air flows through the tunnel formed in the impressed area between the creases of each trouser leg. Well defined creases are quickly produced in a single operation.
