The semi-rigid extending structure made of light-weight elements, quickly assembled and dismantled, and intended to replace both tents and caravans. The structure is made of individual sections, each one with an independent frame, linked together by base-plates and small dowels. The frames are made of pressed metal members, joined together by locking sleeves. A cover made of any appropriate material such as canvas is stretched over the frames and held in place by ropes fastened to the edge of the cover. Any number of sections can be joined together, the interior of the structure being divided up by curtains attached to the small jointing dowels.
