The bracelet is a thin metal band (3) which is fitted with a protective lining (4). The fastener (5) consists of one or several hooks (8) fixed to one free extremity (6) of the bracelet which fit into complementary holes (9) in the other free extremity (7), so that the length of the bracelet can be adjusted. The fastener is operated by the simple application of the first free extremity to the other, and is unhooked by a simple elastic deformation of the bracelet. The hook is a stud (10) which juts out from the protective lining and has a groove (13) near the top in which the other extremity engages.
