1438618 Electron microscopes A P PEDRIK 2 May 1974 [19286/74 Heading H1D A microscope has a pointed body 10 connected to a high voltage source, e.g. Van der Graaf generator, which body acts as a source of "gravitons" as discussed in G.B. patent Specification 1,311,140. An electromagnet coil 12 applies a magnetic field to the so-formed "graviton" beam 12 to concentrate it and direct it upon a plate having an aperture. The "graviton" beam is scanned across a biological sample by a varying magnetic field from between two magnetic south and two magnetic north poles and a magnified image is displayed on a screen 17. The image may be viewed through a series of mirrors.
