New compounds corresponding to the formula: ##EQU1##wherein X can be halogen, R can be selected from the group consisting of alkyl, haloalkyl, halogen, acetoxyalkyl, acetoxy haloalkyl, aryl and substituted aryl, and n can be a whole number ranging between 1 and 5. The compositions described herein are used to protect corn from injury by thiolcarbamate herbicides.
