Portable desk with detachable legs - has legs and reading lamp stored inside desk during transport

The desk has a plastic top (1) with a sloping lid (3) attached by hinges (5). The under surface of the top (1) has an internally threaded boss at each corner. The legs (2) are made from two pieces of tube. The upper section has a projecting stud which screws into the boss in the top (1), whilst the other section screws into this similarly. A socket is provided for attaching a reading lamp. A book support (22) has two bosses (23) which fit into sockets. A swinging tray fitted inside the desk is attached by the bolt (15). The desk is easily transported when the legs (2) are unscrewed and placed inside the top (1) together with the reading lamp and book support (22).
