A first magnetic component implanted in the abdominal wall around the anus has magnetic zones, arranged symmetrically about the anus, at a predetermined distance apart and magnetised in the direction of the anus axis. A second magnetic component has zones spaced apart at the same interval as those in the first and magnetised perpendicular to their line of junction, so that the second component is detachably secured to the anus by attraction between it and the first component, the second component having an anus sealing component. The second magnetic component (9) has a magnetic core (11) fitting in the anal orifice, magnetised in the same direction as the other zones (9a, 9b) of the component, and distant from the line of junction between the zones (9a, 9b) by roughly the same amount as they are spaced apart.
