Bottle decapping tool consists of a shaft terminating in a claw to grasp the cap for removal. The shaft (2) is flat and the claw is made by bending round the U shaped end part of the flat shaft leg (3) so as to form an U rim which extends through an arc between 120 and 150 deg. The rim (4) thus formed on the U claw component should be bevelled at 45 deg. on the side furthest from the tool shaft.
