Outdoor variable inflatable ducted shading structure for plants - has radiation transparent sections covered by radiation insulating sections

The shading unit, esp. for protection of plants, is made up from three flexible pieces of walling. These are interconnected along lines parallel to their length in such a way that ducts are formed between the two outer pieces and the centre one, inflatable with air and influencing the degree of light diffusion. - One of the outside walling pieces has radiation insulating areas in it, and the centre walling piece (6) has radiation insulating next to radiation transparent areas. The configuration of these has a pattern complementary to those of the outside walling piece (5), so that the radiation insulating areas of one is covered by radiation transparent areas of the other, where the two pieces are adjacent. There is no need for folding of the centre walling piece, and its two extreme settings can be attained simply by pumping the relevant ducts.
