Complete sound editing and copying machine for 8 and 16mm film - has two different film drives and three sound heads with one assigned to projector

A single machine covers every operation requisite for transferring recordings from one sound track to another, and for synchronising the sound with the picture image. The machine has two film drives (2, 3; 10, 11), each capable of taking both 8mm and 16mm film, and three sound recording/playback heads, one of which is associated with a projector for the pictures. The second film drive is taken from the first through a differential gear (19), which can be driven by hand (32) or motor (28) to adjust the relative speeds of the drives. The heat of the projection lamp is carried away through various holes and tubes: a cooling fan is not needed.
