The induction electric watt-hour meter has a drive system with an iron core, on which is held a coilformer by means of a fastening elements, adjustably secured to the core. The fastening element is used for providing necessary adjustment required by production tolerances. At least on one face of the coilformer stops are provided cooperating with the fastening element in such manner that the coilformer can take up a precisely defined position in relation to the iron core after mounting. Preferably the stops are flush with the front flank of the coilformer. Both faces of the coilformer may be provided with stop strips which are tapered as an inverted cone.
