The toy fire boat with a small pump device to provide drive, has its intake aperture situated below the hull waterline. Its high pressure outlet side is connected to at least one drive nozzle directed opposite to the direction of travel. The high pressure side (17) of the pump (7) has a selector type device (24-26) such that the minimum of one drive nozzle (18) mounted below the hull waterline may be connected at will to a water spray device situated above the hull waterline.
