Flushing washing agents into washing machines - with sufficient water for cleaning out washing agent chamber

A flushing trough for the washing agents, series-connected programme-controlled water inlet valves and a drainage system in the tube are used. Method is carried out by directing the water supply system into the drainage system for a short period prior to flushing of the washing agent in the wash cycles. Water supply system is then directed to introduce the washing agent into the tub exclusively, via the flushing trough. Pref. a direct inlet valve for fresh water is provided with a water pipe leading to the drainage system, and one or more flushing valves are provided with pipes leading to the flushing chambers of the trough. The programme control mechanism opens the direct inlet valve for a short period before the flushing valves.
