Plate handle for emergency exit doors - has unobtrusive shape which does not project into exit on opening

The handle actuated lock is used espec. for emergency exit doors. The actuating handle which rotates on the lock baseplate, is easy to operate in emergency situations and it does not project into the exit formed when door is opened. The actuating handle is a plate (20) which rocks on the pivot pin (29). The handle plate (20) is inclined in closed position at an acute angle in relation to the baseplate (1). The rocking arm (20) subtends this angle. The handle actuates lever which in turn moves the lock slide.
