Installation to facilitate the pinning up or marking of dresses, trousers and other items of clothing, uses a platform stand shaped like a turnable stool for the person wearing the clothing being pinned up. The platform has a lower frame and a shaft carrying the platform to rotate around a vertical axis in the lower frame. The shaft is adjustable in relation to the lower frame. The shaft is adjustable in relation to the lower frame by a height adjustment system. A holding and securing column rises vertically from the circumference of the platform.
