Mouldable mixture is concrete or mortar using rice husk ash as aggregate, uses appropriate materials for mould surfaces. Concretes or mortar are formed using this aggregate mixed with suitable proportions of resin and cement. The resultant set material is claimed to be economic, and have good structural, heat resistant, thermally insulant and water absorption (17 to 20%) properties. Five pref. mixes are given within the range of 700 to 1100 grammes cement to 30 to 110 grammes synthetic resin and 200 to 450 grammes aggregate per cubic decimetre of dry product. Moulds can be of cardboard, elastomere, expanded polystyrene or polyvynil chloride for matt or smooth finishes etc.
