The pallet has supports or feet at each of its four corners. The arrangement is such that there is room for the arms of a fork-lift truck between adjacent pallets in a stack. When in a stack, a pallet bears on the one beneath via corner blocks (7). When standing on the ground the actual feet (3) are used. The feet are formed by elbow shaped pieces of circular cross-section. They are attached to the pallet by inclined pieces (6) which act as guides when a stack of pallets is being built. The two arms of the elbow piece (3) are attached to the frame on adjacent sides.
