A cleaning device for a spinning frame includes two carriages slidable on e.g. rails along a corridor between two banks of spinning spindles and associated devices e.g. guides, balloon suppression devices, delivery rolls etc. Each carriage supports a blower or suction nozzle and the nozzles of each carriage are interconnected by a rigid tube to firmly secure the carriages together. One of the nozzles is connected by a flexible pipe to a suction device or compressed air device at one end of the rails. The device efficiently cleans waste fibre from long spinning frames.
