The adjustable setting drive is used for air and throttling valves and for mixing taps and in heating and ventilating systems. The electric motor with gear drive is simple to produce and readily installed and operates with high efficiency. The last gear sector (22) of the gear train has a hollow shaft (23) pushed directly over the valve shaft 12 to be driven. The angle of rotation of the last gear wheel 22 is limited by a slot and pin stop (25). The angle of rotation can be limited to a range of 90 deg. to 105 deg. The motor remains switched on even if the end stops have been reached.
