The animal forage distributor machine (1) consists of a chassis (2) on wheels (3), incorporating a compartment for the (4) silage. The silage compartment (4) has longitudinal sides (5) slanting towards the centre axis of the compartment, giving the compartment a triangular shape, open at the top. One of the slanting sides (5) has a distributor device (7) consisting of a conveyor grill with tines or slats. The conveyor is driven by an electric motor and carries the silage over the top edge of the container (4). The silage then passes down a chute (8) into the feeding troughs. There is a conveyor on each side of the container, to supply troughs on each side of the machine. A duct-shaped cover is placed over the bottom ends of the conveyors (7).
