PURPOSE:To carry out efficiently the operation for scraping off the sticking matter on the inner wall of the rotary kiln for pyrolysis of waste matter, by detecting the number of revolution of the basket-shaped body inserted into the main body of the above-mentioned kiln so as to move according to the rotation of the kiln, the position of the scraping-off plate, etc. and by stopping intermittently the rotation of the basket-shaped body acccording to the detected values.
