The adhesives may be applied by means of rollers, the corrugations in those regions where the more rapidly setting adhesives is to be applied being pressed flat tc prevent application of the other adhesives tc these regions. After application of the ad hesives the layers may be pressed together with rollers, bands or belts. Edge regions 4, 5 may be cut away during further processing, the more rapidly setting adhesive may be a dispersion glue, natural or synthetic latex, hot melt adhesive or animal glue and the more slowly setting adhesive may be vegetable glue, cellulose glue or second dispersion glue.
