The rocket is held in its launching barrel by a spring loaded holder. This holder is rotated from clamping position into releasing position. The holder prevents rocket moving forwards or backwards within the barrel. The holding device rests against a stop in the clamping position. A locking lever (20) with the stop (22) is moved into releasing position when the rocket (25) is launched. This ensures that the holding device (8) is held in clamping position as long as the locking lever (20) is in its blocking position. The locking lever (20) projects into the gas stream of the rocket (25). The force of this stream actuates the locking lever.
