Path changing circuit for communication system - has electronic change: over switch connected to two antiparallel amplifiers and parallel path with bridging contacts

The switching circuit, for changing over or disconnecting transmission paths in communications systems, consists of an electronic changeover switch (1) with two inputs/outputs and one output/input. The switch - single pole is connected to a circuit comprising three parallel paths. - The first path contains an amplifier (2') for signals passing in one direction; the second path an amplifier (2) for signals in the other direction; and the third path contains bridging contacts enabling either/both amplifier paths to be matched. The entire circuit is formed on a board using printed circuit techniques.
