Outside the switch chamber is mounted a rotary knob on an axis brought out through one chamber wall, on which also the disc is mounted. The disc surface carries a sliding contact extended at one edge into sprung contact arms which connect at certain positions mutually insulated sections of a conductive coating on the opposite chamber wall. - The coating sections continue outside the chamber as terminal strips. The sliding contact is formed by a sheet metal stamping has a sector section (12) covering an angular region of 60 deg. of the disc. Its radial boundary edges are provided with a bent protrusion (13, 14) pointing towards the disc which has recesses (17, 18) for retaining these protrusions. The corresponding contact arms extend symmetrically to the respective protrusion.
