Workpiece straightener with hydraulic press - uses deflection measuring instrument to control stroke of ram for corrective bending

The workpiece straightening press is fitted with a control device governing the power admission to the cylinder of the ram as well as its travel. The control device receives command signals from a measuring instrument attached to the workpiece, which monitors the vertical deflections of te workpiece. The bench (1) has feed roller systems (2) and similarly arranged exit rollers at the opposite end of the line. To bench (1) a stand (3) is attached carrying the straightening rod (59), of straightening cylinder (4), fitted with a clamping plate (5) for a suitable straightening tool. On the bench two movable supports (12) are provided with sensors (17). Between these two supports, housing (23) is fitted with measuring sensor (24).
