Rotary chisel holder for multi-spindle automatic lathes comprises a basic holder fitted on the machine slide, and on which is clamped a change holder carrying on its work side a rotary chisel. The change holder (2) in the areas of its work side (1) and rear (H), is located on the base holder (1) at each location via an inclined edge (13), this edge being in contact with a base holder support surface (14). For draw tension purposes, a clamp screw (6) and a anchor head in a T-groove of the base holder (1) are used, the anchor head limiting turns beyond approx. 90 deg. Parallel to the change holder (2, 3) a counter holder is arranged to take a round shape chisel (7).
