The lathe has a tool disc displaceable parallel to the axis of the main spindle, and changeable into several angular positions. An indexing arm with bolts guides the disc and prevents it from torsion. The slide (32) in order to take the workpiece change device (35) or the smooth table turret, is connected with the machine frame (1), cross slide or indexing arm (4), the latter forming a single unit with the disc (3) and the revolver shafts (2). The slide (32) also has a centering and fixing system for the indexing arm (4) or drum revolver disc (3) providing stability during workpiece changeover and machining.
