Luggage extension for saloon car - has bolt on body over removed boot lid

The rear of the saloon car is fitted with an extension (4) which continues the line of the roof and converts the vehicle to an estate car shape. The extension is open to the front and bottom and sits over the boot space, with the boot lid removed. It is attached by its upper top edge to the rain gutter of the car for a firm fitting. The extension can be swung upwards about its gutter fittings for access to the extra luggage space. The luggage space is separate from the passenger compartment for cleanliness etc. It can be used for a variety of purposes including chemical transport and for carrying animals.
