Sieving belt for root crop harvesting machines - has paired opposite retainers which are fitted on endless belt carriers

The sieving belt is for root crop harvesting machines esp. potato harvesters. There are two outer, endless support belts or chains which at their top side carry connected, parallel spaced cross rods. Paired, opposite holding pieces (11) are fitted on the endless belt carriers (1, 2) between every two adjacent cross rods (6). An additional cross rod (13) can be fixed in the holding pieces and this divides the distance between the adjacent cross rods. The additional cross-rods (6) are in the form of elastically flexible spring rods which can be inserted in opposing acceptor bores (18) in the holding pieces (11).
