The exercise appts. for indoor domestic use has a base of any desired shape, and the bar can be pulled or pushed by the user, being inserted from top or bottom and locked in the desired position by any suitable means. It can be constructed of tubes or angle steel transmission of vibration to the base, can be damped out by friction, springs, air compression etc. (3). The uprights (2) can be separate joined together by a pin (7) at the top.
