Automatic bottle transferring machine - corrects misalignment of row of bottles and grips necks over arc

Pairs of spaced elements as (1) are fixed to a carriage which can be raised, lowered and translated relative to a row of bottles to be moved. As the elements descend over the bottles the inclined lower edges (6) correct small misalignment of the bottles. The elements are then closed to engage the necks of the bottles. Grip is assisted by flexible members (8) whose parts (7) accommodate to the neck of the bottle and each grips it over an arc. The elements are raised carrying the row of bottles, translated to a discharge position and lowered. The elements are moved apart to free the bottles.
