The two pipes (1, 2) are fitted with end flanges (8, 9) the expansion bellows in between the pipes, consisting of two end flanges (6, 7) fitted with an 'O' ring joint and having the flexible bellows (5) fitted permanently to the neck of the flange. The flanges are fixed to the pipe by means of the rings (10) held by a circular band around the outside. One of the flanges is fitted on the inside with a sleeve (11) flanged at the end (12) to fit in the groove (13) of the bellows flange. The other end of the sleeve remains floating.
