Ski boot with moulded leg and sole - has leg with fixed and articulated parts fastened by single cord

The ski boot consists of an upper leg (2) of moulded material, joined to the sole (1). The upper consists of a fixed part (5) covering the front of the ankle, articulated at the toe (4). A flap (6) is joined to this at the toe and goes under it. The boot is fastened by a single, continuous, supple elastic cord (7) with complementary fasteners at each extremity. The cord is held in place and guided by some holes (8) in the fixed part and projections on the fixed part (10) and on the flap (9, 16).
