ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE FOR A SUPPORT CABLE

A method of mounting and adjusting one of the cables in a set which support a body and suspend it from pulleys allowing it to be rotated. /P P It consists in bending the ends of the cable so that they are substantially tangent to the loop that it must form around the body and the pulley. The ends of the cable thus bent are arranged in a connector consisting of two bodies which are tightened by screws and in which the recesses house the bent end parts of the cable which cross at a point located between their ends. /P P The slack cable is then placed around the body to be suspended and the pulley, then its slack is removed by applying a tension equal to that of the other cables. Application to rotary ovens, dryers and drums which are suspended from pulleys by cables which transmit to them a rotational movement.
