Tied bale production machine - uses reciprocating ram in baling chamber and acting against tied bale in outlet

The machine produces tied bales of paper or similar material, using a tied bale (78) positioned between a top and a bottom wall, with one end near the outlet from a bale-forming chamber. A ram (26) reciprocates in this chamber, into which the material to be baled is loaded. The action of the ram gradually forms a bale (82) against the end of the tied bale, at the same time thrusting the new one between the top and bottom walls and the tied one out from between them. The tied and untied bales are parted after the former has been fully expelled from between the walls, after which horizontal loops of strip material are placed round the untied one.
