ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA curable binder for use in forming a castable propellantof the hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene type of the structural formulawherein n = 57-65, which uses two bonding agents, and aziridinepolyester and an amine polyester. The amount of aziridine polyesteris reduced by a factor of 3 to 4 compared to known systems. Improvedpropellant properties, including elongation at maximum load and atrupture, while maintaining comparable tensile strength and initialmoduii, are obtained. A diisocyanate curing agent, and antioxidantsuch as di-tert-butylhydroquinone or phenyl-beta-naphthyl amineand combinations of antioxidants, and isodecyl polargonate as aplasticizer may be included.
