The post carrier (3) is for a dredging vessel and can be moved by sets of wheels (5) over a rail track (6) which is connected to the vessel. Above the track are guide profiles (7) set with reduced clearance over the wheel sets, and in conjunction with which the wheels can function. A third guide track (8) is provided, and the post carrier has pressure cylinders (9) which can be pressed onto this track in such a manner that the carrier with the wheels is pressed or pushed against the guide profiles located above it. The pressure cylinders are hydraulic, and work in conjunction with rollers (10) on the third track (8).
