The cover consists of a protective plate which covers the connecting regions of the fuse cartridges, and of insulators for the fuse cartridges. Inserted handles are provided as an integral part. An insulating frame (1) contains several fuse sockets (2), which have underneath the protecting plate (3) apertures (4) for air flow. The apertures form abutment shoulders (5) for the protective plate, over which they extend up to the root (6) of the actuating tags (7) for the fuse cartridges (8). Preferably the insulating frame consists of insulating plate (10) and of Z-shaped protective strips (11), resting against the front sides (12).
